The Old Lahaina Luau is definitely not the same as the Royal Lahaina Luau.
Feast at Lele reportedly top notch.
Drums of the Pacific is at the Hyatt.
Near where you are staying, the Maui Prince puts on a nice one as well.

IMHO, Old Lahaina Lu`au is best. It%26#39;s a well-presented history of hula in Hawai`i with no cheesy ';let%26#39;s see how we can embarrass the tourists.'; Dancing is excellent, food is above-average lu`au fare. Your server will get you stronger drinks from the bar if you ask.
Note that there is no fire-knife dancer, as this is not part of Hawaiian culture.
Drums of the Pacific has the best fire knife dancer on Maui.
