Can anyone recomend another good snorkeling spot besides hanauma bay? With it being January i know some of the north shore spots would not be so safe. Thanks for any help.

You are right, the best places I have found are on the north shore which is usually a no go in January!! There are some areas on the leeward side that are nice but can also be subject to large surf in the winter. Your best bet is to go with a snorkel company so you can get on a boat. They will take you to the places that are accessible at the time!!
