I am trying to plan a trip to both Maui and the Big Island. Does anyone here have a preference for which one to do first? I%26#39;m trying to find the cheapest way to get there but do not want to have to go to Oahu and connect - are there direct flights from the West Coast to either one of the airports on the Big Island? If anyone has done both on one trip and has advice, I%26#39;d appreciate it!

Yes, several have direct flights from SFO or LAX to both Kona %26amp; Maui. I would pick which ever gives you the best schedule and price for your needs. Don%26#39;t forget to add in the inter island airfare between the two.
