Happy lei day

Hi,

I have not been on this board in a while since we are not able to go back to Maui any time soon. But last year at this time we were on Maui.

Lei day was so nice on Kaanapali beach with free POG and leis for sale all kinds of pretty leis. The smell of Plumeria and the sun and beach and taste of POG was intoxicating.

Today my DH and I miss Maui. It has only been a year and it seems like a life time ago. We have been taking more frequent and more local trips to places we can drive to or fly quickly to.

I hope everyone has fun on their trips.

Happy lei day

I so know what you mean! I have Maui withdrawls so bad!!

Happy lei day

How about a virtual vacation?

Withdrawals are no fun -

Happy Lei Day everyone.

Leis are made of all kinds of natural and synthetic materials. Lei day should be a national day of aloha.

nice to see everyone again. And a special Aloha to JCderrick whose book helped me on the road to Hana one of my favorite memories of Maui.

Mahalo Lerose! I will send to my DH too!

Sadly, I was also in Maui a year ago today. I remember the lei I bought on Front Street in Lahaina. Can%26#39;t remember exactly what else we did that day, but I dried the lei and still have it. Not as pretty now as it was that day.

Happy Lei Day everyone! I think I shall go in search of a lava-flow type drink to celebrate tonight!

Happy Lei Day to all. Hubby sent me pics of Hanauma Bay on Oahu to cheer me up (cheered him up too). Yes, leis can be made with just about anything - don%26#39;t know how well tulips would hold up though.

Happy Lei Day.

Wailuku town is doing a first night event.

Saturday night is the Brothers Cazameros Lei Day concert at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.

Enjoy

Lerose congrats on your promotion to destination expert. and on the other new experts as well. New to me anyway!
