Also, where is the closest grocery store to this hotel? and do city view rooms come with refridgerator?

thanks to all who respond!

We stayed here in Oct/Nov last year. At that time the Super Pool was under construction (now completed) and the lobby area Diamond side was under renovations. The old pool is now being renovated.

This link may help with further updates:

Im sure all rooms (except maybe Manor Wing rooms) have a refridgerator, although they are quite small (enough room for snacks %26amp; few drinks/milk).

You can get most basic essentials at ABC Stores or there is a Food Pantry along Kuhio Ave (near Ohana East Hotel on opposite side of road).

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at the link and at least the lobby should be done by the time i get there which will be nice and get rid of some narrow places.

I booked my room through priceline and I think the city view rooms have fridges.

Is ABC close the hotel and have decent prices?

How crowded was the pool area and beach near the hotel when you went?

I was thinking if weekends are too busy I would go to beaches elsewhere on oahu those days.

You do realize that that is the 4th of July week. You will find crowds every day.

ABC Stores are in abundance! You cannot miss them.

I can%26#39;t imagine a Sheraton without a frig in the room, but it would be best to call them.

We stayed at the Sheraton in February and shopped at the Food Pantry on Kuhio. It%26#39;s about a 5 min. walk. You%26#39;ll find everything you need but will be shocked by the prices. We shopped there for snacks as we had a refrigerator in our suite. There is a great bakery on Kuhio as well, I think it was the Paradise bakery but not sure. Great for danishes etc. It%26#39;s on the opposite side of the street from the Food Pantry so when you turn onto Kuhio, keep an eye out for it on your right.

thanks for the suggestions guys...i will definitely be making use of the frige in the room, and a 5 min walk isnt too bad at all..i will have a look at the bakery forsure as i enjoy baked goods!

the bakery is called St. Germaines at the Town Mall (former Kuhio Mall). There is also pastry and a coco puff (name skips me) place in the Food Pantry.

The walk through the International Market Place or Duke%26#39;s Lane to return to your hotel will take 10 to 15 minutes. If you%26#39;re only looking for snacks, juice, soda, water, beer and so forth, ABC might just be better with prices. ABC will offer quick take out snacks, fresh fruits, coffee, danish and much more. ABC located across the main lobby at Royal Hawaiian Center (former Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center).

Try a haupia coco puff for me .......

I will definitely try and few things in there for you!

Regarding checkout at the sheraton...my flight doesnt leave for home until 9pm or so I was still hoping to enjoy the day on the beach however so I am wondering if the hotel offers a hospitality room and how safe that would be etc... if anyone has went through this i%26#39;d appreciate the info....thanks again to all who have answered and who will

We were at the Sheraton last summer and hopefully again this coming August. I have to comment on St. Germaines. We were there every morning. They have a huge assortment of pastries including a couple of very delicious Japanese style rolls. It is a very casual place where you select your food and pay at the counter.
