Need Help with Bus Route / Direction

Looking at the Waikiki map area, we want to take the bus from the south end (near the zoo area) to the north end (Ala Moana Blvd, pretty much where Kuhio Ave. meets Kalakaua Ave)

Does anyone know which bus just go straight down to the end of Kuhio Ave.?

The buses all travel on Kuhio, none on Kalakaua

I think they will all get you there is you are on Kuhio

A couple of quick points from someone who regularly rides the bus down Kuhio Ave...

Every bus heading ewa/westerly (towards downtown)along Kuhio goes close to the Gateway/Kalakaua Park triangle formed by the junction of Kuhio and Kalakaua. But about half turn makai/oceanward on Olohana Street about a block before, so you would have to get off of those at the prior stop and walk.

Buses 2, 4, 13, and B do not make that turn and all stop in front of the Ambassador Hotel directly across from Gateway Park. They will announce the stop as ';Kuhio and Namahana...Maile Sky Court, Ambassador Hotel, Waikiki Gateway';.

Oh, and Longboard, the city express buses into Waikiki (B, E %26amp; F3) still run down Kalakaua Ave on their diamond head leg.

Scooby, where are you going? If you want to get closer to Ala Moana Blvd., there is one more bus stop at the corner of Pau Street (Ala Moana runs into), bus stop in front of Tony Roma%26#39;s Restaurant, corner of Pau and Kalakaua Ave.

One more bus stop further will put you off at the corner of McCully and Kalakaua, across the 7-11 store at Ena Road.

Number #4 bus will make a right turn at Pau Street taking you along side the Ala Wai Canal and up McCully Street, right turn on Kapiolani to University Ave.

Buses making the the left turn at Olohana Street will go down Saratoga Road, through Ft DeRussy making a stop in front of the Hale Koa Hotel (this stop is also for the HHV) before turning left on to Ala Moana Blvd.

Just more information, not knowing where you are heading to.

There are a few places that I want to toward that mainly food and shopping.
