i just canceled my mexico trip and switched to hawaii. since i lost a bunch of money on cancelations i decided to go with the cheaper room in the royal lahaina.
any tips / tricks abut that hotel? its seems realy lovely on the webpage - i just want to make sure to get the most of this trip. after all we will be flying exactly across the globe (13 hours time difference is going to be rough)
- what are our chances of being upgraded to a better room?
- any package deals whe should know about?
- any other tips and trick / nice places to eat out around there?

The tower has newly renovated rooms. I would suggest when you check in, to ask about a (free or low cost) upgrade. We stayed there in early Febuary for 5 nights in the tower and enjoyed it!!! Great locations and room. The Hula Grill is a great place to eat in Lahaina!!!
great beach, great beach walks.
Love their bar menu with an ocean view. their sweet potatoe fries are yummy. Free live music every night in the bar/dining room.
Ford is a great food and bev manager.
