Sportfishing charters?

Who%26#39;s done this and what company would you recommend? We did this years ago several times in Kona and Cabo, Los Barrilles - loved it. Any advice on doing it here in Kauai? Would really like to do the morning 4-hour trip.

i waited to see if you received any other replys.

Unfortunately, when in the activity biz, there were many reports of indifferent skippers on the fishing charters here on kauai.

As well as reports on this board. Not good.

That being said, I had great reports from Kai Bear fishing charters, and even some people coming back in and booking a second, a couple of days after the first.

As to recent scoops, really do not have any, nor have heard much.

He has two Bertrams, which if you are knowledgeable about boats , are highly regarded.

Being a fisherman, you know what to ask. As far as I know the catch is shared amoung those on board.

They have four, or six share trips, and , as I stated, always had good reports.

But please, call and visit with them, and due dillengence would be appropriate.

I have not talked with them for well over a year since leaving the concierge/activty field.

Sporting Fishing on Kauai is nothing like Kona or Cabo. I know there are companies that do this since a business associate booked one in June but I never asked him who he used. Denny gives you great advice. If I can get the name of the company our business associate used, I%26#39;ll pass that on.
