This is an awesome forum, and possibly I have found too much to do in Oahu. We have never been and I am having a hard time organizing where things are and how much is reasonable for a day. So here is a list of things to do, so I was hoping maybe I could get some input as to what order to do things and how many things in day. We are staying in Waipahu (11 miles from HNL) and have rented a car. We arrive on Tuesday the 4th at 2pm and leave the following Tuesday at 10pm. So 7 full days.
Sunset Mai Tai Sail on Oahu Cocktail Cruise
Kailua Beach Park
Waimanalo Beach Park
Hanauma Bay Nature Park
Diamond Head
Either Maunawili Falls or Waimea Falls Park
Snorkel/Sail combo (http://www.sailmakani.com/ht/sailing.html)
Surf Lessons from Hawaiian Fire (http://www.hawaiianfire.com/lessons.htm)
Turtle Bay Horseback riding
Scuba at Captain Bruce (http://www.captainbruce.com/)
Haleiwa - North Shore (read on here you can rent bikes, info anyone?)
Lanikea beach
Pearl Harbor
Dole Plantation
Paradise Cove Laua
I suppose Waikiki beach of course.
Any help figuring out the rundown would be SO appreciated. I don%26#39;t want to cram too much in, if we end up parking it at some fabulous beach soaking up the sun for an afternoon it is fine, just want to have alternatives and know what we could do on a certain day depending on where we are. Suggestions so welcome. I%26#39;ve learned anything I know from this forum!:)

Need help organizing itinerary
That actually helps a lot! Thank you. I mapped it and does about an hour from Waipahu to Turtle Bay Resort sound right? Trying to get a feel for how long it takes to get from place to place..
45-50 minutes from Waipahu to Turtle Bay.
Woohoo, here%26#39;s what I%26#39;ve got. Thank you so much for the maps! Let me know what you think of this:
Tuesday:
Up and at it early
Arrive at pearl harbor by 7:30, end around 2:30ish, plan $60 probably, totally guessing
Start at the USS Arizona...2 hour program and museum... Free
Then walk over to the Submarine museum and memorial....allow about 2 hours there... admission
Then head over to The USS Missouri... they have tours and food on board...allow 3-4 hours depending on tour.. Admission
AND... the new Pacific Air Museum on Ford Island....Admission
Since Pearl Harbor is an active Military base... you cant wander and no tour wanders around the base.
Drive across over to Kailua Beach and Lainki beach to relax the rest of the day in the sun
Wednesday:
Up and at it early to hike diamond head
Go to Waikii Beach
Register for the Mai Tai Sail cocktail cruise that night for sunset
Thursday:
9:30am pick up for surf lessons, return to waikii at 2pm. ($99)
Whatever in between. Head back home, eat, clean up, chill and head to luau, it officially starts around 5pm.
Paradise Cove Luau
paradisecovehawaii.com/Luaupackages/luaupack…
$80
Friday:
Waimea Falls (can swim in waterfall, Blue Crush was filmed here) ($24, they say about 4 hours to tour the park)
Tool around Haleiwa and Sunset Bay (little beach town, sounds like an all day affair relaxing on the beach and exploring this area. Bike rentals)
Saturday:
Skydiving ($150) 10am start-2pm end maybe
Continue along the coast to turtle resort for the horseback riding
Sunday:
Captain Bruce scuba/snorkel dolphin deal-late dive on Sundays’ only, 9:45am leave
Snorkeler:$50
Scuba: $110
Maybe hit the Dole Pineapple Plantation on the way back
Maybe go back to regroup, revisit anything we might have missed or want to go back to
Go to Duke%26#39;s Barefoot Bar on Sunday at sunset for drinks and dinner
Monday:
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve-be there by 9am to get parking ($6)
This is closed for cleaning on Tuesdays, so it can%26#39;t be moved to the next day.
Tuesday:
Just chill today, drive along the coast and hit more beaches
How about some time to learn about Hawaii and her people? The Bishop Museum and Iolani Palace are highly recommended and easy to get to on The Bus. The Polynesian Cultural Center should not be missed - especially with a 7 night stay. It%26#39;s an all-day event (if you like) and there are packages on-line that you can choose from. Wonderful evening show.
Check out this site for photos and places to see around Oahu. They also have ideas for the Big Island of Hawaii and Kauai:

If you%26#39;re spending lots of time on the North Shore the Turtle Bay Resort is a suggestion for a few nights. I notice you have Haleiwa and horseback riding possibilities up there. That way you%26#39;re not driving back and forth from Honolulu.
The Polynesian Cultural Center is on your route and worth a visit. It will take up much of an afternoon. The luau there is optional.
