Babysitting??

Has anyone used the babysitting services (not the kids club) at the Westin Villas? If so, how did it go? Were you comfortable with the sitter? Did your child(ren) give you any input? Do recall the cost? We have used the kids club at the Westin several times, my son has always enjoyed that. Are the same people that work at the kids club the babysitters also? We are considering a night out (4 of us) and leaving the 3 kids (ages 9, 8, and 4) with a sitter for a few hours (3 or 4 tops). Any input would be appreciated.

Babysitting??

I don%26#39;t know what service they use but we%26#39;ve used The Nanny Connection. They may be the only sitter service on Maui. They charge about $20/hour depending on where you are staying (West or South) and they have a 3 hour minimum. The nannies are contractors and not employees but we%26#39;ve had good success with them and so have others.

Babysitting??

We also have used Nanny Connection at the Villas and also at the Hyatt. They were great both times and we were comfortable and had fun having a date night. I don%26#39;t think the kids club people do actual babysitting.

Last time at the Villas there were 4 kids (6,6,4,3) and she took them for a walk around the property and showed them these teeny little brown frogs that camouflage into the bark. They enjoyed looking for those every time we went outside and on the next trip they remembered to look again.
