Still looking for a condo in Waikiki for a week in mid June. I have a few options from vrbo that we are considering. My wife wants to be only a short walk from the beach and the main area of Waikiki, so she%26#39;s not keen on anything that is right back along the Ala Wai Canal. I%26#39;ve looked on maps etc but can anyone tell me realistically how long of a walk it is to the main beach from the following places?
*Ala Moana Hotel
*Ilikai Hotel
*Hilton Hawaiian Village
*Monte Vista (near cnr Ala Wai and Liliuokalani)
*Aloha Towers (430 Lewers, I think)
Many thanks
Dom
Walking distance to beach from various accommodations?
*Ala Moana Hotel - 2-3 blocks from Ala Moana Beach Park (not shown on the map, but #12 %26amp; #13 are in Ala Moana Hotel. Aarons atop the Ala Moana closed a few weeks ago).

*Ilikai Hotel - 3/4 block to the beach at Hilton Hawaiian village. 3 blocks to Ala Moana Beach Park

*Hilton Hawaiian Village - anywhere from right on the beach to 1 block depending on what tower.
*Monte Vista (near cnr Ala Wai and Liliuokalani) - 2 long blocks

This map may help. There is a world of difference between the HHV and the other properties you listed. You%26#39;re all over the place.
Thanks guys - I realize some of the places named are at opposite ends of Waikiki from each other. Reason we%26#39;re now looking in the vicinity of HHV where we previously were not considering that area is that the other part of our group (brother%26#39;s family plus mum and auntie) have just booked at HHV.
